About me
Joyce is a mother, grandmother, play advocate, author, and retired professor from UW-Madison. Since 2018 she has helped with ChiTaG’s Play in Education Conference. In 2021 she received the U.S. Play Coalition’s Youth Development Practitioner Award. Her favorite ways to play include creating things, baking, genealogy, volunteering, and Jazzercise.
