About me
Brekke Bounds, the Executive Director of the Environmental Education Association of Illinois, is an experiential educator with over 20 years of experience teaching across multiple subjects and across all ages. She is currently focused on training adult educators to bring environmental education topics, including climate science and civic action, to their classrooms and other worksites. Brekke holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, a Master's degree in Sustainable Food Systems, a Permaculture Design Certification, Wellness Practitioner Certification from Hill College, and is board-certified in Holistic Nutrition through NANP.
