About me
Dave serves as minister for two Unitarian Universalist congregations in Illinois- the Tree of Life UU Congregation in McHenry and the Prairie Circle UU Congregation in Grayslake. Dave brings with him a wealth of experience from his 15+ year career in social services and 27+ year career in informal education, including as an Exhibit Developer for DuPage Children's Museum and 18 years as the Senior Manager of Learning Experiences at the Brookfield Zoo. For most of his adult life he has been actively involved in issues of environmental justice, racial justice, immigration, child advocacy, and the intersection of those issues with childhood play, family development, faith formation and community building.
